FlyBase release schedule for 2009

Here is the FlyBase release schedule for 2009. As you can see, we plan to keep to our 2008 schedule of 10 releases a year spaced out by roughly 4-5 weeks. Please watch this thread for changes to this schedule.

Releases in 2009

• FB2009_01 - January 23rd
• FB2009_02 - February 20th
• FB2009_03 - March 20th
• FB2009_04 - April 27th (see note below)
• FB2009_05 - May 29th
• FB2009_06 - July 7th (see note below)
• FB2009_07 - August 10th (see note below)
• FB2009_08 - September 11th
• FB2009_09 - October 16th
• FB2009_10 - November 20th

FB2009_04 has been changed from Friday April 24th to Monday April 27th.

In addition, we have been informed by the BDGP that release 6 of Drosophila melanogaster is due out sometime this summer.
If this timeline holds true then additional FlyBase release delays or cancellations will likely be needed in order to have time to perform the migration.

We will provide more information as things progress.
