Postdoctoral Position in the Molecular Genetics of Aging

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Johannes Bauer at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. We are looking for a highly motivated and independent individual to investigate the molecular basis of the aging process using D. melanogaster. We are interested in dissecting the molecular mechanism of CR-dependent life span extension and to identify genes and signaling pathways that mediate the effects of CR.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Drosophila genetics and molecular biology. Experience in cell biology or microarray technology is a plus, but not required.
