Post-Doctoral positions open to study the molecular mechanisms underlying male germline-specific gene expression using molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, and genetics on the Drosophila model. The current projects in the laboratory focus on transcriptional network that orchestrates the male germline differentiation, and on the molecular analysis of the nuclear lamina-associated machinery of transcriptional repression. We welcome individuals who are well trained in cell and molecular biology, preferably with experience in transcription factor studies. Some positions require experience in Drosophila genetics and/or gene microarray studies. Please, forward your resume to the attention of Dr. Dmitry Nurminsky, Associate Professor, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Maryland School of Medicine, 108 N. Greene Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21201. E-mail: dnurminsky@som.umaryland.edu
