This post is funded by the Wellcome Trust for 3 years within the Transcriptional Regulation Laboratory at the UCL Cancer Institute.
The successful applicant will use a combination of molecular biology, Drosophila genetics and bioinformatics to study the molecular mechanisms used by the Groucho corepressor to regulate gene expression during animal development. Salary will be on the University Grade 7 £31,778-£33,542 per annum inclusive of London Allowance, salary will depend upon qualifications and experience.
The successful candidate must have, or be in the process of submitting a PhD.
Experience in molecular biology techniques, along with good organizational and communication skills are essential for this post. While experience working with Drosophila would be highly desirable, training will be provided as required.
