We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join a team led by Drs Cathy McCrohan, Matthew Cobb and Rasmus Petersen. The project will use a multidisciplinary approach to study changes in the peripheral sensory code that mediate altered olfactory responses following behavioural conditioning in Drosophila larvae. Techniques will include behavioural genetics and electrophysiology, together with computer modelling in collaboration with computational neuroscientists.
You should currently hold or be about to obtain a PhD in a relevant area. Experience in either electrophysiology or Drosophila neurogenetics is required.
The post is funded by the BBSRC and is available for up to three years. Salary: £28,983 - £35,646 per annum
