A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. S. Robinow in the Department of Biology at the Manoa campus of the University of Hawaii. We are looking for an individual who is trained in transcriptome analysis and who would like to develop a project investigating neuronal differentiation in the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster using the molecular genetic tools available in this system. Applicants should have a doctoral degree in a relevant field. Experience in transcriptome analysis is preferred. Molecular skills and a strong research background are required.
