Applications are invited for a junior post-doctoral research scientist post in a newly funded research group within the Cancer Cell Biology Program of the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, Australia. The research focuses on understanding the mechanisms regulating the growth of neural stem cell derived tumours in Drosophila.
Funding is available for 3 years, starting July 2012. Candidates should have a PhD in Developmental Biology or Cell Biology (or in the process of completing a PhD). Proven experience in molecular biology, immunohistochemistry and/or biochemistry are essential, and expertise in signalling or metabolism is desired. Experience in fly genetics is also desired, but not essential. For more information and application (including C.V, details of 3 referees), please write to Dr Louise Cheng at lcheng@nimr.mrc.ac.uk
