A postdoctoral research position is available in the Blair lab in the Dept. of Zoology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, to work on an NIH-sponsored project examining the links between signaling, growth and patterning in the developing wing of Drosophila. The project is especially directed towards examining the roles of the atypical cadherins Fat and Dachsous and their regulation of the Hippo and PCP pathways.
Experience with Drosophila developmental genetics, immunohistochemistry, molecular genetics, protein biochemistry, and/or cell culture preferred, but not required. Applicants should have completed, or shortly anticipate completion, of a PhD in the biological sciences.
Send letter of interest, CV and the names of three references to the address below (email is fine).
