Genetic mapping information
Comments

This deletion removes a single ribosomal protein-coding gene (though other genes are also removed).

Comments on Cytology

Breakpoints of Df(1)62g18 and Df(1)TEM75 separate gt from phl.

Left limit of break 1 from polytene analysis (FBrf0023906) Right limit of break 1 from inclusion of gt (FBrf0023906) Left limit of break 2 from polytene analysis (FBrf0023906) Right limit of break 2 from polytene analysis (FBrf0040957)

Affected Genes Inferred by Location (0)
If no genes are listed here, it may be because the affected region is very large. The JBrowse insert above may show an error for the same reason, and other FlyBase tools such as CytoSearch may also fail for large regions. You can contact FlyBase for more help.
In these cases, there will be no "Export to Hitlist" button to the left.
    Phenotypic Data
    In combination with other aberrations
NOT in combination with other aberrations

Flies heterozygous for the deletion do not show a Minute bristle phenotype.

Labial sense organ and hypothysis are deleted.

Embryos hemizygous for the deficiency show defects of the cuticle, central nervous system and head due to absence of the gt locus (Honisch and Campos-Ortega, 1982). Germ-line clones lethal (Garcia-Bellido and Robbins, 1983, Genetics 103: 235-47).
