X/0 males are lethal (relative viability of 0), X/Y males are viable (relative viability of 1.04). Levels of maternal nondisjunction are low.
X0 male lethal Segregates irregularly from the Y chromosome. Male sterile or nearly so in combination with T(Y;A)'s (Lindsley, Pearson, Rokop, Jones and Stern, 1979, Genetics 91: s69-70) or with Dp(1;Y)y+mal+ (Rahman and Lindsley, 1981).
