What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release. It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

In combination with other aberrations
Weakly suppresses the zeste phenotype in a z1 w11E4; Tp(1;2)TE35B homologue.
NOT in combination with other aberrations
Chromosome acts as a weak trans-suppressor of a physical interaction between tandemly duplicated copies of w+, an interaction that is required for the suppression of genes by z1.

The Df(2L)fn7 chromosome acts as a dominant moderate suppressor of telomeric silencing (assayed using the effect of the chromosome on the eye colour phenotype of flies carrying "P{wvar}KR3-2", a stable "brown-red" variant of the P{3'WP-2,wvar}2Lt insertion), but this is a false positive result (the suppressor is not within the bounds of the deficient region) because the region of the deficiency is covered by one or more nonsuppressing deficiencies.
