Comments

The 3R:30152942..30209020 release 6 coordinates of the left breakpoint are estimates. The left extent corresponds to the estimated position of right end of polytene band 99D9, which the reported cytologies indicate is not deleted. The right extent corresponds to the right end of RpS7, which published results say is deleted.

The 3R:32081331 release 6 coordinate for the right end of Df(3R)R133 corresponds to the right end of the 3R genome assembly because the tip of 3R has been replaced by bands from the Y chromosome.

Affected Genes Inferred by Location (0)
If no genes are listed here, it may be because the affected region is very large. The JBrowse insert above may show an error for the same reason, and other FlyBase tools such as CytoSearch may also fail for large regions. You can contact FlyBase for more help.
In these cases, there will be no "Export to Hitlist" button to the left.
    Phenotypic Data
    In combination with other aberrations
NOT in combination with other aberrations

The Df(3R)R133 chromosome does not act as a dominant suppressor of telomeric silencing (assayed using the effect of the chromosome on the eye colour phenotype of flies carrying "P{wvar}KR3-2", a stable "brown-red" variant of the P{3'WP-2,wvar}2Lt insertion).

Heterozygotes with Dp(3;1)124P are lethal and heterozygotes with Dp(3;1)67A are viable.
