Comments

The 3L:24977118..25115180 release 6 coordinates of the left breakpoint of the Df(3L)6B-29 component of Df(3L)6B-29+Df(3R)6B-29 are estimates. The left extent corresponds to the right end of ND-AGGG, which Fitzpatrick et al. (FBrf0187676) say is not deleted. The right extent corresponds to the right end of Set1, which Fitzpatrick et al. (FBrf0187676) say is deleted.

The 3L:27967244..28112227 release 6 coordinates of the right breakpoint of the Df(3L)6B-29 component of Df(3L)6B-29+Df(3R)6B-29 are estimates. The left extent corresponds to the left end of CG17514, which Fitzpatrick et al. (FBrf0187676) say is deleted. Because the Df(3L)6B-29 component of Df(3L)6B-29+Df(3R)6B-29 extends into centric heterochromatin according to Fitzpatrick et al. (FBrf0187676), the right extent is shown arbitrarily as the right end of chromosome 4 genome assembly.

Comments on Cytology

Portions of 3L and 3R heterochromatic regions are missing in Df(3L)6B-29+Df(3R)6B-29. The h47-h48 region is present and is adjoined by a region that may correspond to h49 together with a small portion of h50. Region h52 is clearly missing, as well as the entire 3R heterochromatin including most of h58. A portion of h53 that contains the centromere is present.
