[64A12-64A12];[64B12-64B12];
A set of isogenic deficiency stocks created by FLP-induced recombination between FRT-carrying transgenic insertions; molecularly defined deletion endpoints correspond to initial location of the progenitor insertions. Initial core set of 209 isogenic deletions provides ~60% euchromatic genome coverage.
64A12;64B12
This deletion removes a single ribosomal protein-coding gene (though other genes are also removed).
Df(3L)ED4342/Df(3L)ED210 flies are viable.
No cardiac or bristle phenotypes are observed in heterozygous Df(3L)ED4342 mutant females.
Flies heterozygous for the deletion do not show a Minute bristle phenotype.
Confirmed by 3-step PCR confirmation as shown in http://www.drosdel.org.uk/del_confirm.php
