[43B2-43B2];[43C5-43C5];
A set of ~800 largely isogenic deficiency stocks created by FLP-induced recombination between FRT-carrying transgenic insertions; molecularly defined deletion endpoints correspond to initial location of the progenitor insertions. Designed to fill gaps in deletion coverage and breakpoint placement; also used to replace older available deficiencies that have not been molecularly mapped.
43B2;43C5
Breakpoint from FlyBase's release 5 sequence location of progenitor insertion.
The presence of P+PBac{XP5.WH5}BSC264 was verified using the PCR methods and primers described in FBrf0175003.
The Gene Disruption project determined the insertion site of P{XP}d03130 to be at Release 3 genomic coordinate 2550735 on arm 2R. This corresponds to 43D1 on the Release 3 genome map and 43C5 on the Release 4 genome map. The predicted position of PBac{WH}CG1707f04769 on the Release 4 map is 43B2. Consequently, the Release 4 cytological breakpoints of Df(2R)BSC264 are predicted to be 43B2;43C5.
