[82F8-82F8];[83A1-83A1];
A set of ~800 largely isogenic deficiency stocks created by FLP-induced recombination between FRT-carrying transgenic insertions; molecularly defined deletion endpoints correspond to initial location of the progenitor insertions. Designed to fill gaps in deletion coverage and breakpoint placement; also used to replace older available deficiencies that have not been molecularly mapped.
82F8;83A1
Breakpoint from FlyBase's release 5 sequence location of progenitor insertion.
The presence of P+PBac{XP5.RB3}BSC177 was verified using the PCR methods and primers described in FBrf0175003 with the substitution of the primer 5'-CCAATGCGTTTATTTCAGGTCACG-3' for the RB3' plus or RB3' minus primer in the Hybrid PCR protocol in the Supplementary Methods.
The cytological breakpoints of Df(2R)BSC177 predicted from the Release 4 genomic coordinates of the transposable element insertion sites are 82F8;83A1.
