[26A1-26A1];[26A5-26A5];
A set of ~800 largely isogenic deficiency stocks created by FLP-induced recombination between FRT-carrying transgenic insertions; molecularly defined deletion endpoints correspond to initial location of the progenitor insertions. Designed to fill gaps in deletion coverage and breakpoint placement; also used to replace older available deficiencies that have not been molecularly mapped.
26A1;26A5
Breakpoint from FlyBase's release 5 sequence location of progenitor insertion.
Lethal in combination with Df(2L)Exel7024.
Presence of P+PBac{XP5.RB3}BSC183 was verified using the PCR methods and primers described in FBrf0175003 with the substitution of the primer 5'-CCAATGCGTTTATTTCAGGTCACG-3' for the RB3' plus or RB3' minus primer in the Hybrid PCR protocol in the Supplementary Methods.
The cytological breakpoints of Df(2L)BSC183 predicted from the Release 4 genomic coordinates of the progenitor P{XP}CG9016d08241 and PBac{RB}Ucp4Ce03988 insertion sites are 26A1;26A5.
