[90C6-90C6];[91A2-91A2];
A set of ~800 largely isogenic deficiency stocks created by FLP-induced recombination between FRT-carrying transgenic insertions; molecularly defined deletion endpoints correspond to initial location of the progenitor insertions. Designed to fill gaps in deletion coverage and breakpoint placement; also used to replace older available deficiencies that have not been molecularly mapped.
90C6;91A2
Breakpoint from FlyBase's release 5 sequence location of progenitor insertion.
The presence of P+PBac{XP5.RB3}BSC650 was verified using the PCR methods and primers described in FBrf0175003 with the substitution of the primer 5'-GCTTCTAAACGCTTACGCATAAACGATG-3' for the RB3' plus or RB3' minus primer in the Hybrid PCR protocol in FBrf0174229.
Exelixis, Inc. determined the insertion site of P{XP}d01767 to be Release 3 genomic coordinate 14124138 on chromosome arm 3R. This corresponds to 91A2 on the Release 3 and Release 5 genome maps. The predicted position of PBac{RB}CG17801e02870 on the Release 5 map is 90C6. Consequently, the cytological breakpoints of Df(3R)BSC650 are predicted to be 90C6;91A2.
