Member of large scale dataset(s)	Dps(X)BSC_set1 Series of Dp(1;Y) stocks carrying segments of the X chromosome on the tip of Y chromosome; in an isogenic background. At the time of publication (FBrf0212582), the Dp(1;Y) collection provided a minimum of 78% coverage with duplication breakpoints spaced a median of nine genes apart. After generating all the Dp(1;Y)BSC chromosomes as described in FBrf0212582, we calculated the minimal euchromatic coverage of the X chromosome provided by these duplications as 97.0%. 	Dp(1;Y)BSC316 carries five regions from the X chromosome. Three segments are appended to YS: a distal X segment (1Lt;1B5, X:1Lt;387562 (R5)), a medial X segment (10F3-11A1;11E8, X:11775943..11900970;13178324) and a basal X segment that extends distally from a point in centric heterochromatin distal to bb to a point either in X heterochromatin or in basal euchromatin. An X segment extending proximal from a point between fog and stnA (X:22228492..22384175) to an unknown point in X heterochromatin and a small X segment from 16A carrying B[S] are appended to YL. (Cook et al., 2011.7.11) Dp(1;Y)BSC316 was generated from C(1;Y)N12, In(1)BSC32 by a large deletion. The proximal deletion breakpoint fell between X:22366703 (20F3, Release 5) and h28--h29. Consequently, no basal euchromatic genes distal to stnA are present on Dp(1;Y)BSC316. (Cook et al., 2011.10.20)
