Heterozygous Df(1)f08066-f07791 mutant females exhibit a dilated cardiomyopathy phenotype, including an increased end-systolic dimension (EDD) and a decreased fractional shortening (FS) compared to controls. Df(1)f08066-f07791/+ mutant flies also have short, thin bristles compared to wild type. Homozygous Df(1)f08066-f07791 is lethal.
