What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release.
It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other
FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled
vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

Detailed Description
| |||
Statement Reference Mutant flies show increased resistance to ethanol sedation compared to control flies. Heterozygotes show loss of the posterior wing margin. Homozygotes show loss of both anterior and posterior wing margin.
Wing discs in heterozygous larvae show ectopic apoptosis. Heterozygotes show scalloping of the wing margin. Mutant animals exhibit an decreased sensitivity to cocaine. Homozygotes have a scalloped wing phenotype. Heterozygotes show mild scalloping of the wing in the posterior compartment. Homozygous flies show severe scalloping of the wing margin and transformation of dorsal to ventral fate in the alula at the posterior margin of the wing. Heterozygous flies show mild notching of the wing. Male and homozygous female with Beaded-like wings; long, narrow and excised along both margins; fully viable. Heterozygous female less extreme and overlaps wild type. Some venation abnormality.

Genetic Interactions
| |||
Statement Reference apmd544/+ enhances the severity of the Bx1 wing scalloping phenotype. The Bx1 scalloped wing phenotype is completely suppressed by expression of apScer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544. The Bx1 scalloped wing phenotype is suppressed by expression of fngScer\UAS.cKa or SerScer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544. The severity of the Bx1/+ wing scalloping phenotype is enhanced by one copy of apUGO35, fng80, SerRX82, osa308 or brmT362. The Bx1 scalloped wing phenotype is completely suppressed by expression of osaScer\UAS.cCa, osaEP3-900, osaEP3-1591, osaEP3-619, osaEP3-941, osaEP3-473, osaEP3-1074 or osaEP3-1386 under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544. The wing phenotype of Bx1 heterozygotes is dominantly enhanced by apUGO35, fng80 or Chie5.5. The wing phenotype of heterozygotes is completely suppressed by apScer\UAS.cMa expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544. The wing scalloping phenotype of heterozygotes is fully rescued by fngScer\UAS.cKa expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544, but the transformation phenotype of the alula is not.
