What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release. It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

Mutants have impaired visual pattern memory.
Mutants show severe disruption of the central complex, including a failure of neuropils from the two hemispheres to fuse at the midline. On either side of the midline, axons form ellipsoid body-like structures which vary widely in shape. In most cases, R4d axons remain within the neuropil mass on the ipsilateral side, but occasionally they appear to cross the midline.
Homozygous larvae show reduced locomotor behaviour (shorter path lengths) on agar (non-foraging surface) and yeast (foraging surface) compared to controls. Larvae perform normally in a roll over test.
Abnormal position and internal structure of optic lobes.
Central complex is dissociated into two fibre masses of variable shape. β,γ lobes of mushroom bodies are reduced.
Entire central complex of brain (with exception of protocerebral bridge) dissociated into two fiber masses of variable shape; some of dorsal brain's mushroom body lobes reduced in size; inter-hemispheric commissure of brain reduced in size (in white pupae); abnormal learning in adult and larvae tests using olfactory stimuli; subnormal locomotor activity.
