Statement Reference Eye colour: translucent dark ruby. Eye colour: deep orange, with st1. Eye colour: lighter than bw1, with bw1. Malpighian tubule colour: very pale yellow. RK1. Eye colour: darker than wild type. Dramatic reduction in number of secondary and tertiary pigment granules surrounding the ommatidium. Outer rhabdomeres are also occasionally missing. Mutant males have a shortened adult life span compared to controls, with a mean life span of 21.97 days at 25[o]. | |||
