50% of E(z)60/E(z)Trm flies show weak transformation of T1 to T2, 75% show weak transformation of T3 to T2, 24% show strong transformation of T3 to T2 and 100% show transformation of A5 to A4.

Transformation of second to first leg.

The total level of hydrocarbons and the level of 7-monoenes is significantly reduced in heterozygous males compared to controls. The total level of hydrocarbons and the level of 7,11-dienes is significantly decreased in heterozygous females compared to controls.

Mutation does not affect the level of w expression in ph-plac+3 flies.

Moderately suppresses z1 In(1)wm4 and z1 In(1)rst3 but has no effect on zv77h In(1)wm4 and zv77h In(1)rst3. Slight effect on z1 or zv77h in combinations with wzl or wzm.

In z1 wzm strain mutation causes reduction of eye pigmentation.

Suppression of z1 wzm males to produce a wild type eye colour with dark flecks. The background colour of z1 wzl males is marginly suppressed to become slightly darker.

Weak dominant homeotic phenotype: ectopic sex comb teeth on mesothoracic leg.
