Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Homozygous mutant larvae exhibit an early onset glial cell migration defect in the developing eye.

Despite the lack of photoreceptors, the eye disc is still present (in reduced form) in homozygous mutants.

Displays locomotor activity rhythm with an approximately 24h period.

Optic ganglia reduced.

Eye size relative to that of wild type: .50-.75 Eye reduced to three-fourths to one-half normal area but varies from no eyes to extensive overlapping of wild type. Less extreme at low temperatures. RK2.
