Description
What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release. It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

hide Detailed Description
Statement
Reference
About 70% of zipEbr/zip02957 adults have malformed wings.
Some cells in homozygous clones in the wing have multiple F-actin prehairs.
Germline clones produce eggs with patterning defects: dorsal closure is defective. Lethality occurs during the embryonic and larval stages.

Statement
Reference
A zip[02957]/+ background enhances the visual system degeneration seen in Scer\GAL4[GMR.PF], Ppt1[Scer\UAS.cKa] flies.
S48-5/zip02957 mutants show 34.60%+-4.71 misrotated ommatidia compared to 9.55%+-1.43 seen in S48-5 mutants alone.
