Trans-heterozygotes of pum[1]/pum[3] display extra wing veins. Trans-heterozygotes of pum[3]/pum[01688] display extra wing veins and extra macrochaetae on their notum. The penetrance of the notum phenotype is incomplete. Trans-heterozygotes of pum[3]/pum[Msc] display extra wing veins and extra macrochaetae on their notum. The penetrance of the phenotypes is incomplete. The notum of pum[7]/pum[3] escapers display extra macrochaetae. The penetrance of the notum phenotype is incomplete.
