Lethal in combination with RpII215Ubl. Ubx effect inhibited in transheterozygotes with other interacting alleles.
The capitellum of the haltere shows a partial transformation to wing blade in heterozygotes. Enhances the bristle duplication phenotype of Dl7 heterozygotes. 65% of males have one to six sex comb teeth on the second tarsal segment of their first legs.
Survives at 28oC with nearly wild-type viability, but is lethal at lower temperatures.
Cold-sensitive mutation.
Baker.
Degree of transformation of the haltere when heterozygous: RpII215H1 < RpII2157 < RpII215K2 < RpII2154 < RpII215Ubl.
