	Statement Reference β-alanine pools only 39% normal. (Wright, 1987) Females hemizygous for s¹ very dark and sterile. (Craymer and Roy, 1980) ERG normal. (Hotta and Benzer, 1969) Non-autonomous in s¹/s⁺ mosaics. (Lewis, 1955) RK1 at 19^oC. Body colour: dark with prominent trident.
