What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release.
It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other
FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled
vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

Detailed Description
| |||
Statement Reference 9.3% of heterozygotes show transformation of segment A5 to A4. 20.8% of heterozygous adults show at least one transformation phenotype. trx3 may be slightly antimorphic. trx3/trxZ11 adults occasionally developed small heads, anterior thoracic segments, abnormal antennae with reduced aristae and reduced or absent maxillary palps. They also often develop A1 tergites with dark pigmentation and large Uab-like bristles at their posterior borders. The flies have patches of small bristles in the A2 and A3 tergites that are normally only found in the A1 tergite. Transformation of ventral T1 to ventral T2 is seen, and sternopleural bristles are present on T1. | |||
