Transheterozygotes between uncl10 and stnA1 are viable and show no bang-sensitivity, paralysis or uncoordination at room temperature or after an hour at 29 degrees.

Homozygous germline clones display maternal effect lethality and abnormal oogenesis (abnormal egg chambers that fail to develop). Embryos derived from heterozygous mothers do not exhibit CNS or PNS defects.
