Dominant temperature sensitive lethality is incompletely penetrant. Escapers of lethality show delayed eclosion.
The temperature-sensitive period of heterozygotes appears to be near the end of embryogenesis.
Homozygotes die at room temperature, though unclear whether recessive lethality due to l(2)DTS911 or other mutation.
