Description
What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release. It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

hide Detailed Description
Statement
Reference
More severe Asx phenotype than Asx- deletion and also a more severe transformation of thoracic segments towards abdominal segments. Segmentation defects are also present: missing segments, midline denticles missing and hemisegments. Heterozygous adults have a mild transformation of A4 to A5 in males.

hide Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference
Double heterozygotes with sxc3 show reduced viability and survivors show transformations typical of Pc-G mutants including transformation of A4 to A5. Most also show haltere to wing transformations typical of trx-G mutants. No similar interaction with sxc5 or Df(2R)M41A4 is seen, though anterior transformations of A5 to A4 do occur with Df(2R)M41A4, similar to those seen in trx-G group mutants.
