ScmET50 suppresses the pairing-dependent silencing of wenh.iab-7PRE.410 seen in flies homozygous for P{iab-7PRE-wenh.410}1 or P{iab-7PRE-wenh.410}2. ScmET50 suppresses the pairing-dependent silencing of wenh.iab-7PRE.260 seen in flies homozygous for P{iab-7PRE-wenh.260}1 or P{iab-7PRE-wenh.260}2.
The addition of heterozygous ScmET50 can suppress the Pairing sensitive silencing effect seen in wMcp.10, wMcp.13, wMcp.scs'.12:15, wMcp.scs'.11 and wMcp.scs'.14. The addition of heterozygous ScmET50 has no effect on the Pairing sensitive silencing effect seen in wMcp.11. the addition of heterozygous ScmET50 strongly suppresses the Pairing sensitive silencing effect seen in wMcp.scs'.11 (P{Mcp-w#11}16/+, P{Mcp-w#11}102/+) double heterozygous insertions. The addition of heterozygous ScmET50 strongly suppresses the Pairing sensitive silencing effect seen in wMcp.scs'.14/ wMcp.13 (P{Mcp-w#14}AP-2stummelbein/+, P{Mcp-w#13}116/+) double heterozygous insertions.
Dominantly enhances the homeotic phenotypes of Pc3/+ adults. Partially lethal in double heterozygous combination with Pc3, Pc2 or SceD1. ph-p409 males that are also heterozygous for ScmET50 show partial lethality.
