Statement
Reference
Amino acid replacement: R131@. The insertion of a new stop codon 3bp upstream of the second intron results in truncation of the protein, thereby eliminating the CAAX box.

Statement
Reference
Ras85DSutor-341/Ras85D05703 transheterozygotes have low viability. Females transheterozygotes with Ras85D05703 lay eggs with a severely disrupted eggshell (patch of chorion instead of dorsal appendages), 40% of eggs hatch and develop to normal larvae. Transheterozygotes with Ras85D05703 exhibit slightly disrupted ommatidial array (small number of fused and misplaced ommatidia).
