Mild defects in grooming behaviour. Also subtle changes in the external structure of sensory receptors; producing thinner and shorter macrochaetae on notum and head, occasional loss of notal macrochaetae and mild reduction in the number of notal microchaetae. ctp1/ctpe73 and ctp1/Df(1)RC40 transheterozygotes are semi-viable and exhibit the same macro- and microchaetae embryonic phenotype as the homozygote.
