Oenocytes are completely absent in pnt07825Δ78 homozygous, but not pnt07825Δ78/pntMI03880 transheterozygous stage 15 embryos, unlike in controls.
Adult midgut intestinal stem cell somatic MARCM clones homozygous for pnt07825Δ78 do not display any growth defects. The rate of mitosis upon infection with Pseudomonas entomophila in the mosaic midgut is comparable to controls.
Eggs derived from egg chambers containing complete homozygous follicle cell clones have a single thick dorsal appendages.
pnt07825Δ78 homozygous clones in the dorsal air sac primordium grow and normally but never contribute to the tip of the primordium.
In somatic clones mutant for pnt05484Δ33 in third instar eye discs, some R2-5 photoreceptors undergo G1 arrest, but none differentiate.
Homozygous and pnt07825Δ78/pntΔ88 embryos have wild-type midgut development.
Homozygous embryos show a loss of 3 chordotonal organs per abdominal hemisegment (VChA and two in LCh5).
Eggs laid by mosaic females (generated using Scer\FRT/Scer\FLP1 recombination system) that have a clone of mutant follicle cells in the dorsal-anterior region or a clone that covers the entire follicle cell layer exhibit a single broad dorsal appendage 4 times wider than a wild type appendage. This is not a fusion of the two appendages but cells from the middle region taking on an appendage-producing cell fate.
Clones in the eye are missing photoreceptors.

The growth of intestinal stem cell somatic MARCM clones expressing cicKK100838 under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU in the adult midgut is not reduced by combination with pnt07825Δ78.
Weakly enhances the phenotype of E2fGMR.PD DpGMR.PD BacA\p35GMR.PH flies.
pnt07825Δ78 significantly suppresses the formation of extra outer photoreceptors caused by B-H1sev.PH, although it does not affect the loss of R7 cell phenotype caused by B-H1sev.PH.
Enhances the eye reduction phenotype caused by WGMR.PG.
pnt07825Δ78 acts as a dominant suppressor of the eye phenotype of the activated Ras85DV12.sev. Halving the gene dosage of pnt enhances both the rough eye and missing photoreceptor phenotypes of Dsor1XS520 and phl12.
