Description
What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release. It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

Statement
Reference
Transposition of jockey and 1.8kb of the sc gene (which contains an enhancer responsible for the development of anterior notopleural bristles) from scD1 into the gypsy element at the y locus. Insertion into y is in opposite orientation to that of y2#+9.
Deletion of all 12 su(Hw) binding sites within gypsy and jockey insertion in this region.
Deletion of the su(Hw) binding region within the gypsy between nucleotides 501 and 1046 concomitant with the insertion of a jockey element.
Insert stated as cause: undefined Insertion of at least 5kb DNA into the gypsy element present in y2.
