Statement Reference Homozygous clones in the eye do not produce extra photoreceptor cells. Src42ASu(phl)1-1/Df(2R)nap9 animals show defects in head involution, tail morphology and tracheal necrosis. Heterozygotes are viable with no obvious phenotype. | |||

Statement Reference Suppresses the lethality of phl1. Lethality at the pupal stage is seen in Src42ASu(phl)1-1 Ras85DV12.sev or Src42ASu(phl)1-1 phl::tor13D.hs.sev double heterozygotes. The rough eye phenotype of hemizygous phl1 pharate adult males is also suppressed by Src42ASu(phl)1-1. Dominantly suppresses the rough eye phenotype of Dsor1XS520 and Sosx122/SosAM14. Suppresses the phl1 phenotype; phl1/Y flies die, whereas phl1/Y ; Src42ASu(phl)1-1/+ flies are viable and fertile. phl1/Y pharate adults have rough eyes and the R7 cell is missing in 88% of ommatidia. Rescued phl1/Y ; Src42ASu(phl)1-1/+ flies have rough eyes and the R7 cell is missing in 36% of ommatidia.
