Expression of hopTum.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR25A11 results in germaria with an increase in the number of spectrosome-containing cells, as compared to controls.
Expression of hopTum.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Myo31DF-NP0001 (using tub-gal80[ts] to limit the time of expression) increases cell proliferation in the adult gut.
