Description
What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release. It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

Statement
Reference
Deletion of nucleotide 1 to 653 of gypsy, including the 5' LTR and part of the transcribed untranslated region but not including the 12 copies of the su(Hw) binding site.
Deletion of both gypsy sequences (removing the gypsy 5' LTR) and the y promoter and entire coding region. The first breakpoint is in the internal portion of gypsy at +653bp (gypsy coordinates as in FBrf0045014), and the second breakpoint is located immediately 3' to the y gene. The second breakpoint brings gypsy sequences next to the 3' region of a jockey element located 3' to y.
