Nature of the lesion	Statement Reference Yp2 promoter from a yolk protein cassette (starting 37bp downstream from the Yp1 promoter, through the 1.2kb intergenic region, terminating 105bp downstream of the Yp2 transcription start site) drives Ecol\lacZ expression. (Scott and Geyer, 1995) Construct: The intergenic region of Yp1 and Yp2, from position +105bp of Yp2 to +37bp of Yp1, is fused to the Ecol\lacZ coding region. (Logan and Wensink, 1990)
