hide Detailed Description
Statement
Reference
Ras85DN17.hs.2sev heterozygotes have a very mild eye phenotype.
Flies expressing Ras85DN17.hs.2sev have a rough eye phenotype.
Flies carrying Ras85DN17.hs.2sev have a rough eye phenotype.
Expression in the embryo causes ectopic cell death.
60% of the ommatidia of flies carrying Ras85DN17.hs.2sev lack an R7 cell. Many ommatidia lack one or both of photoreceptors R3 and R4. Ras85DN17.hs.2sev completely blocks the ability of csw::Src64Bhs.2sev to induce R7 development.

Statement
Reference
lzr1/+ ; Ras85DN17.hs.2sev/+ flies have a rough eye phenotype. Ras85DN17.hs.2sev enhances the lzts1 eye phenotype, making the eye rough at the permissive temperature for lzts1 and severely defective at 29oC.
One copy of mask10.22 weakly enhances the Ras85DN17.hs.2sev rough eye phenotype.
The extra R7 cells of styF7 are suppressed in ommatidia also mutant for Ras85DN17.hs.2sev.
Enhances the eye reduction phenotype caused by WGMR.PG. The ectopic cell death caused by Ras85DN17.hs.2sev expression in the embryo is blocked if the embryos are also homozygous for Df(3L)H99.
Not lethal in combination with sevS11.T:Hsap\MYC.
