Mutant wing disc clones expressing dshScer\UAS.cNa under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU do not show neoplastic transformation.

Expression of dshScer\UAS.cNa under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.2sev results in planar cell polarity defects in the eye.

Somatic clones overexpressing dshScer\UAS.cNa under the control of Scer\GAL4e22c exhibit an increase in wg signaling and apical cell constrictions. They separate from their neighbours and display smooth clone borders.

Expression of dshScer\UAS.cNa in the eye, under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.2sev, causes planar cell polarity defects and a loss of photoreceptors.

Expression of dshScer\UAS.cNa, under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1, results on notum-to-wing pouch transformations in the dorsal mesothoracic disc.

Expression of dshScer\UAS.cNa under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU in l(2)gl4 mutant wing disc mutant clones results in overproliferation and neoplastic transformation in the proximal domain. Clones in the distal domain are eliminated, even when the growth temperature is elevated.

The planar cell polarity defects in the eye which are caused by expression of dshScer\UAS.cNa under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.2sev are not suppressed by VhaM8.9EY03616/+.

Expression of dshScer\UAS.cNa under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.2sev in a dcoj3B9/+ background results in a strong suppression of the loss of photoreceptor cell phenotype seen when the transgene is expressed in a wild-type background.

Simultaneous expression of Cyp310a1dsRNA.Sym.Scer\UAS or CG17278dsRNA.Sym.Scer\UAS to create Cyp310a1 or CG17278 dsRNA results in an enhancement of the notum-to-wing pouch transformation within the dorsal mesothoracic disc in flies expressing dshScer\UAS.cNa, under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1. Ectopic wing margin bristles on the wings of dshScer\UAS.cNa; Scer\GAL4vg.PM animals are almost completely suppressed by twsj11C8/+.

The tissue polarity phenotype caused by expression of dshScer\UAS.cNa using Scer\GAL4hs.2sev is dominantly suppressed by Rho1k07903, Rho172R and bsk2 but is not affected by rl10.

wgspd-fg/wgspd-hL2 transheterozygous wing phenotype can be partially rescued by Scer\GAL4vg.PM induced expression of dshScer\UAS.cNa, rescue of the anterior wing margin and the posterior wing blade between vein 5 and the posterior margin.
