Detailed Description
	Statement Reference Dsim\py¹/sca¹ females show a sca-like (Dsim\py-like) phenotype. (Roote, 2005.4.25) Eyes rough; marginal wing hairs erect; lack most large bristles of abdominal tergites; may other macrochaetae either absent (ocellar bristles) or increased in number (orbital bristles, vertical bristles, posterior vertical bristles, sternopleural bristles, and major thoracic bristles) (see FBrf0001865). (Sturtevant, 1929)
