Detailed Description
| |||
Statement Reference Stage 15 tkvunspecified embryos have 30-34 genital disc precursor cells, while wild type embryos have only 22 at this stage. The number of T bars per active zone and bouton surface area per active zone is increased compared to wild type in the boutons of muscle 6/7 in mutant third instar larvae. 10 +/- 2% detachment of the presynaptic membrane is seen. Homozygotes do not exhibit a wing vein phenotype. tkvunspecified mutant embryos lack dorsal hypoderm. Internal organs appear normal and are extruded though the open dorsal side of the embryo. The ventral hypoderm is contracted. | |||
