Statement Reference Scer\GAL4^rho.PL mediated expression allows rescue of the MP2 precursor in In(1)y^3PLsc^8R embryos but the dMP2 is transformed toward a vMP2 fate. Simultaneous targetted expression of l(1)sc^Scer\UAS.cPa and ato^Scer\UAS.cPa completely rescues the MP2 neuroblast. (Parras et al., 1996)
