Low1 mutants suppress mutant eye colour phenotype in wcrr mutants and has no effect on mutant eye colour phenotype in wsp1 mutants. Low1, Wowunspecified mutants suppress mutant eye colour phenotype in wcrr mutants and enhance mutant eye colour phenotype in wsp1 mutants. Low1, MowEMS mutants enhance mutant eye colour phenotype in wcrr mutants and have no effect on mutant eye colour phenotype in wsp1 mutants. Low1, Inr-aEMS2 mutants suppress mutant eye colour phenotype in wcrr mutants and enhance mutant eye colour phenotype in wsp1 mutants. Low1 is epistatic to MowEMS. Low1 and Wowγb mutually suppress the effect of the other.
The lethality of Sxlf1/Sxlfhv1 females or msl-3unspecified/msl-3unspecified males is not affected by Low1. The eye colour phenotype of wa4, wric, waM, waR84h, wa59k1, wi, wc, wsp1, wsp3, wsp4, wsp2, wsp81d, we, wap-1, z1 wis, z1 wzm, z1 Dp(1;1)w+61e19, wE, w+mF, w+mSC, w-113, wZ4-17, w+mC and wBgB+173 flies is unaffected by a single copy of Low1.
