      Expression of en::srrep.Scer\UAS during embryonic stages 11 to 14 (using Scer\GAL4hs.2sev) causes a strong disruption of the muscle pattern; abnormally shaped myofibers with extended processes are seen. These myofibers cross the midline and fail to attach to the epidermis. Expression of en::srrep.Scer\UAS during embryonic stage 15 (using Scer\GAL4hs.2sev) does not interfere significantly with the formation of a normal muscle pattern, although the ventral oblique muscles extend closer to the midline than normal.
