comment=G to A nucleotide change at the second or third position of the Trp codon leads to a nonsense mutation. (exact site of mutation unspecified). Site of nucleotide substitution in mutant inferred by FlyBase based on reported amino acid change.

Statement
Reference
In tgo3 homozygous embryos branching of the terminal cells is absent and no connections develop between each side of the tracheal dorsal trunk so the dorsal trunk does not form a continuous tubular structure. In addition, the transverse connectives misroute resulting in an absence of dorsal branches. There is also an absence of ganglionic branches in the ventral nerve cord in tgo3 homozygous embryos.
